Big Brother 11: The housemates

• JJ
  JJ is a 23-year-old professional boxer/barman. That is, while he works his way up to World Boxing Champion, he's supporting himself with bar work.
  
  There's likely to be trouble because he admits to being a compulsive liar with a fear of potatoes (his fear of octopus's will probably prove less of a problem).
  
  Apparently he doesn't hate anyone – well, except anyone who has threatened to leave the BB house once they're in there… so, almost all of them then.
  
  
  

• Laura
  Laura's motto is "live, love & laugh", a phrase she has tattooed on her hip.
  
  Once called a "greedy, selfish, stuck-up, nasty piece of work", Laura says her personality and boobs are her best features and she spends her hard-earned sales assistant cash on sex toys, clothes and booze.
  
  Believing that everyone should laugh everyday, she claims: "Your eyes will go like testicles if you mean it."
  
  Whatever that means.
  
  
  

• Rachel
  Scouser Rachel's an old hand at the reality game. Her best life experience so far was making it to the last 50 in Pop Idol.
  
  She's a trolley dolly by trade but confesses she's never been further than Morocco.
  
  And she's a big Jeremy Kyle fan so we're expecting plenty of shouting.

• Student Andrew is 19 (yes, really) and was a child maths genius (we'd never have guessed).
  
  Big Brother is his chance to rebel but don't expect too much romance - talking to girls is not his strong suit and he lost his virginity to someone he didn't know... while he was drunk.

• Tiny Keeley is under five foot tall but freely admits to having a superiority complex as a result.
  
  Apparently people often think she's arrogant but it's just that she's got such "charisma and charm".

  Josie, 25, is a farmyard lass at heart. A sales rep from Bristol, she left home at 14 to live on her
  Aunt's farm.
  
  She was expelled from two schools, has pulled a moonie at a Thai monk and broken her arm doing a combat roll. Expect screaming, laughter and a larger than life personality.

• Steve
  Steven lost both his legs and one eye serving in the armed forces in Belfast. But that hasn't stopped him weight training, sailing (across the Atlantic, no less), or playing wheelchair basketball.
  
  He professes to be the independent, strong
  leadership type.
  
  He's also got eight (yes, eight!) kids so the house should hold no fears for him.

• Ben
  30-year-old Ben describes himself as an elitist (but he's 'not a snob'). He has though, already appeared on American Princess and Ladette to Lady.
  
  By his own admission he is a control freak and is "definitely not a team player".
  
  He also confessed to once being seduced by the mother of his 18-year-old girlfriend.
  
  "Expect the unexpected," he says.

• Rachael
  Beyonce lookalike Rachael is fully convinced she'll be the "most attractive girl in the house".
  
  She admits to being a tad lazy but that could be because she looks at herself in the mirror up to 100 times a day.
  
  She "enjoys confrontation" and is therefore "not expecting to
  be adored".

• Nathan
  Nathan, 26, claims to be something of a Jack the Lad and "Yorkshire's answer to Liam Gallagher". While he insists he's not one for responsibilities, he does love to cook (well, curries anyway).
  
  He's the proud owner of a six and
  a half inch monobrow, which apparently has the ladies falling
